Apostolic Tabernacle’s Statement of Faith
We believe in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes, and purposes. He is omniscient, omnipresent, eternal, and immutable—unchanging in His being, character, and promises.
This one God has revealed Himself as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in regeneration. He is not divided in persons but is one indivisible Spirit.
Scriptural Foundation:
- Deuteronomy 6:4
- Malachi 3:6
- Isaiah 43:10–11
- John 4:24
- Ephesians 4:5–6
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one true God manifested in the flesh. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
The Holy Spirit overshadowed the virgin Mary, and the child born was called the Son of God. Jesus was not another divine person, but God Himself manifested in genuine humanity. He is the image of the invisible God—the visible revelation of the one eternal Spirit—fully divine and fully human, revealed in flesh for our redemption.
Scriptural Foundation:
- Isaiah 9:6
- Luke 1:35
- John 1:1, 14
- Colossians 1:15
- Colossians 2:9 1 Timothy 3:16
We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is exalted at the right hand of God (the place of authority). On the Day of Pentecost, He poured out His Spirit in Jerusalem, and that same Spirit continues to fill and empower believers today.
Scriptural Foundation:
- Luke 24:46–51
- Acts 1:9–11
- Acts 2:1–4, 33
1 Corinthians 15:1–4
We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith as we obediently respond to the gospel.
The biblical response includes:
- Repentance from sin
- Baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins
- The baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance
- John 3:3–5
- Acts 2:38
- Acts 8:16
- Acts 10:44–48
- Acts 19:5–6
- Romans 6:3–4
- Ephesians 2:8–9
- Titus 3:5
We believe that those who have experienced the new birth are called to live a holy and sanctified life. Holiness is both an inward transformation and an outward expression of devotion to God.
We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to reflect Christ in character, conduct, and commitment.
Scriptural Foundation:
Romans 12:1–2
2 Corinthians 7:1
Hebrews 12:14
1 Peter 1:15–16
Titus 2:11–12
We believe that divine healing is provided through the atoning work of Jesus Christ and is available to believers today through faith and prayer.
We observe the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Christ’s sacrificial death, examining ourselves and discerning His body.
Scriptural Foundation:
- Isaiah 53:5
- James 5:14–15
- Luke 22:19–20
- 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
We believe in the glorious catching away of the saints when Jesus Christ returns for His church. We believe in His visible return and in the final judgment of all mankind.
Our hope is anchored in His promise and in His coming kingdom.
Scriptural Foundation:
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
- Titus 2:13
- Matthew 25:31–34
- Revelation 20:11–15
At Apostolic Tabernacle, we are unapologetically Apostolic—grounded in biblical truth, centered on Jesus Christ, and committed to seeing lives transformed by the power of the Spirit.
If you desire to experience the new birth or take your next step in faith, we would be honored to walk with you.
